80s TV ad for It's a Knockout
This TV ad is not for a product, it's for a show that was broadcast on Channel 10 in Australia in the mid to late 80's called "It's a Knockout" (WMV 1.87MB).
The whole idea of "It's a Knockout" was that teams of peope would compete against other teams in crazy and often stupid and dangerous games. All of this was filmed in front of a huge crowd and then it was shown on TV.
I can't remember what the people were competing for though..it must have been pretty good...but then agin...this was the 80's ;)

Thanks Mick for the ad's lately - have you thought about putting them on google video or youtube?
Posted by: Roger at April 20, 2006 2:13 PMI thought about it Roger...but i'm not a huge fan of Google video and YouTube have a policy of not allowing you to put up TV ads or music video clips (and i have a pretty big collection of 80's video clips to put up soon) without the copyright holders approval...then again...my sites bandwidth is bound to go a bit crazy with all of the videos i will put up over the next few weeks. Let me see what i can organise..
