Disney podcasts and iTunes

OK...I love that iTunes has brought a whole heap of people to the party...but can some one please point out to me where the RSS file is for the Disney podcast....or is their podcast only available on iTunes??? What the???

Disney Podcast page

Disney's "Get Software" page

Disney's podcasting FAQ

The Disney iTunes page

I ran across this becaus i am still trying to work out why some of the podcasts listed in iTunes have album art, but most don't..including all of our shows from The Podcast Network...well ok...i have only tagged up G'day World (G'day World TPN site and G'day World iTunes site) before i go and do all the others...anyone???

Well, I'm not sure about the RSS feed, but unless I'm missing something in what you're asking, there's nothing special about the artwork, it's just a part of the MP3 tags (see http://id3.org - or (http://www.id3.org/id3v2.3.0.html#sec4.15) for the spec on Attached Images.

ID3-TagIT (http://www.id3-tagit.de/english/) seems like a decent enough Windows GUI editor, or there are command line tools depending on how you're automating your publishing.

On second thought, of course I did miss what you were asking! I didn't really think that you weren't aware of ID3 tags... so should have looked closer, you've got those, it's the feed images you're referring to.

I presume you've consulted http://phobos.apple.com/static/podcast_specifications.pdf

cheers

As part of their 'brilliant' user interface, they have several right click options in the same line, once you subscribed to them - maybe they are hidden their.

Most of the featured podcasts are probably entered and tweaked manually, in case of Disney you can see on this right click that it is treated differently.

If you choose information, a xml is displayed but not copyable, so excuse me not copying it. :)

But: Whatever this is for, this is not done by autmation, otherwise we would see updates of our channels ...

Marc...went through the Apple PDF as soon as we had access to it (the same time as everyone else). The big issues is that I make changes to the tags, and its takes between 12-24 hours to see the result. So all i need is one little slip-up and...grrrr....

Thnx Nicole...its interesting to see that all of the sites that have created iTunes specific feeds dont seem to have any issues...hmmm :(
