While i was in Redmond recently attending Search Champs v2 at Microsoft worldwide HQ, i got to hang out with Robert Scoble (aka. The Scobleizer) for half a day while he was doing interviews for the great Channel 9 site over on MSDN.
Well...one of the interviews has gone up and its pretty cool. Robert chatted with Amanda Silver, who is a Program Manager on the Visual Basic team, and she showed us part of her presentation for the next TechEd.
Amanda is typical of a lot of the people i meet whenever i am visiting the Microsoft Redmond campus...actually, she is typical of a lot of people i meet who work for Microsoft fullstop...she is really passionate about what she does and wouldn't want to be doing anything different. And it really comes through every time Robert interviews her for Channel 9.
If your are a developer, or work with Microsoft, or just like to see how people can be passionate about the organisation they work for and the work they do, check out more of Channel 9. Robert has made sure there are RSS feeds for every bit of it that you woud want to RSS feeds for ;)
I actually subscribe to the RSS feed that contains the video segments on my Windows Media Center with Doppler, and watch it instead of crappy commercial TV on the big screen in my lounge room.
But then again...i'm a geek* :)
