Re-elected to the AIMIA 2009 National Board

The results for the election of the 2009 AIMIA (Australian Interactive Media Industry Association) National Board were made public yesterday at the AGM, and i feel honoured to have been once again voted onto the board of the peak national industry body that represents the Interactive Media and Digital Content sectors in Australia by its members.
The 2009 AIMIA National Board is made up of some extremely talented people and it includes:
- Guy Gadney – The Project Factory (President)
- Rachel Dixon – Net Ventures (Vice President)
- Ken Reid – KPMG (Treasurer)
- Jennifer Wilson – The Project Factory (Secretary)
- Kristin Carlos – Yahoo!7
- Sandra Davey – Kcollective
- Colin Griffith – Communications & Technology, NSW Department of Commerce
- Toby Hack – Nine Network Australia
- Lauren McLaughlin – BBC.com
- Molly Reynolds – Independent Producer
- Mick Stanic – Honeysuckle Creek
- Karson Stimson – Spin New Media
In addition to my fellow Board members voted in during the last week , the Board also has four additional members that are the Presidents of the AIMIA State Chapters:
- Peter Bray (AIMIA NSW Chapter President)
- Michale Burke – Liquid Interactive (AIMIA QLD Chapter President)
- Che Metcalfe – Podmo Mobile (AIMIA SA Chapter President)
- Simon Goodrich – Portable Content (AIMIA VIC Chapter President)
Congratulations to all of the board memeber voted in and a big welcome to the new board members. Looking forward to catching up with everyone at the 15th AIMIA Awards being held in Sydney next week.
I was first voted onto the National Board in 2006, and as i mentioned back then, I continue to look forward to working with the other members of the AIMIA National Board, the AIMIA Victorian State Chapter, the staff at the AIMIA National Office, and most importantly, the AIMIA members, in helping to make our industry the best it can possibly be.
