Halo 2 for Windows Vista

Posted by Mick (SplaTT) Stanic under: Gaming; Microsoft .

Larry Hyrb (Microsofts ‘Xbox Live Director of Programming’) or as he known on his blog by his Xbox Live gamertag, Major Nelson, has an interesting blog post on some of the Xbox Live integration that is built into the soon to be released Halo 2 for Windows Vista.

He also mentions that when Shadowrun ships later in the year, you will not only be able to communicate with other people signed into the Xbox Live environment on both the PC or the XBOX, but will also be able to play against them…nice :)

The whole cross-platform interaction thing has got be one of the biggest advances to happen to gaming, aside from the evolution of the hardware, and opens up a lot of possibilities for the future of online worlds.
