Google buys Doubleclick

On Firday, Google announced that they had bought DoubleClick for US$3.1 billion. According to this New York Times story, the deal is all cash and does not invovle stock like the YouTube deal done last year.

It seems that Microsoft has mised out this time but there is an interesting story doing the rounds about that as well ;)
