Lifecam drivers for Windows Vista released

Posted by Mick (SplaTT) Stanic under: Microsoft .

I blogged about the lack of Windows Vista drivers for the new range of Windows Lifecams way back in September last year…then in October I noticed on the Vista blog that they had posted that they were coming soon…so guess what i just noticed???

Thats right…Windows Vista drivers for Lifecams have now been released…though I would have thought that 117MB for a driver package is a bit big…hopefully it has some really cool stuff in it ;)

One Comment so far...

Yes, I actually find it funny that even Microsoft’s own products were not Vista-ready, so to speak. Glad that Lifecam drivers are out but I foresee more clamor for Vista-compatible drivers coming soon as poeple opt to upgrade their PCs.

Going over other tech/gadget blogs like Lifehacker and Gizmodo, I saw a post about a company called Radarsync offering a free online repository of Vista-compatible drivers. The link for the page is http://www.radarsync.com/vista

If this page delivers, then it’s a BIG help for a lot of people out there.
