The Phantom of the Opera returns to Melbourne

The Phantom of the Opera, the brilliant musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is returning to Melbourne in July of 2007 after last playing here in 1990…it even stars the original actor that played the Melbourne Phantom, Anthony Warlow.
I did a bit of work on the Phantom when it was setting up to play here at the Princess Theatre and had the opportunity to see it multiple times…it was that good.
This is definately on my list of things to see in 2007 :)

can anyone please help me? i would liek to know the exact dates it is opening etc, and when we can book tickets etc as i am from perth and would like to fly over to see it, so would love to know if anyone knows details yet.

Ben, I wouldn’t necessarily fly to Syd to see it, if you can wait a year and a half I hear on a very trustworthy grapevine that it will be visiting Perth. But do sign on to their phantom .au website to register interest because then you’ll hear when info/ticket details are released.;)

i cant wait. im so excited im from the sunshine coast and my dad and i are flying to melbourne to see it. i have seen the movie about 100 times and im not kidding. but i havent see the stage play yet. i still get goosebumps everytime i see it. see you all there!!!

I too am in Adelaide - and I soooo loooong to see THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA again.
I saw the show in Melbourne in August 2007, and January 2008 {I have seen it 11 times in all - which is NOT enough}.
PLEEEEASE BRING BACK THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA TO ADELAIDE - and for soooo verrrry muuuuch longer than 3 months - otherwise “A Disaster Beyond Your Imagination Will Occur”.
