Preview of Feast Bazaar episode 6

The sixth episode of the amazing Feast Bazaar is airing on SBS (Australian TV network) this Friday night at 8pm and for the last remaining 5 episodes of the series, host Barry Vera takes us out of Morocco and into Syria (there is also a new trailor on the left hand side of the main Feast Bazaar page for the Syria episodes).

FEAST BAZAAR Episode 6 - Palmyra & Old Damascus

Barry follows the sandal prints of the ancient Romans to an ancient oasis city.

Then it’s on the road to Damascus, a city as old as time and a labyrinth of religious history and intrigue. There’s John the Baptist’s head, the tomb of Adam and Eve’s son and a window where a saint escaped death in a basket.

Tales told by the Hakawati (storyteller), come to life in the glint of a sword.
