The 2006/2007 AIMIA National Board
Posted by Mick (SplaTT) Stanic under: AIMIA .

The results for the election of the 2006/2007 AIMIA (Australian Interactive Media Industry Association) National Board were made public today, and i feel honoured to have been voted onto the board of the peak national industry body that represents the Interactive Media and Digital Content sectors in Australia by its members.
I would like to echo the words of AIMIA’s CEO John Butterworth as they sum up my feelings pretty well – “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all members who voted and to congratulate the successful candidates. I look forward to working with you over the next 12 months as we take AIMIA to yet another new level.”
The 2006/2007 AIMIA National Board is made up of some amazing and extremely talented people and it includes:
- Nic Cola (Fairfax Digital)
- Sandra Davey (Kcollective)
- Rachel Dixon (Handshake Media)
- Guy Gadney (BigPond)
- Richard Gilles (C4 Communications)
- Colin Griffith (NSW Government)
- Molly Reynolds
- Robbee Spadafora (Seven Network)
- Mick Stanic
- Karson Stimson (Spin New Media)
- Mark Strong (Network Ten)
- Jennifer Wilson (HWW Limited)
In addition to my fellow Board members voted in during the last week , the Board also has four additional members that are the Presidents of the AIMIA State Chapters:
- Peter Bray (Clear Blue Day – AIMIA NSW Chapter President)
- Peter Higgs (QUT – AIMIA QLD Chapter President)
- Stephen Watt (NetSpot – AIMIA SA Chapter President)
- Steve Grocott (Nine Lanterns – AIMIA VIC Chapter President)
I am really looking forward to working with the AIMIA National Board, the AIMIA Victorian State Chapter, the staff at the AIMIA National Office, and most importantly, the AIMIA members, in helping to make our industry the best it can possibly be.
PS. A huge thanks to all those AIMIA members who believe that I have something of value to offer our industry body and who voted for me :)
