The Steve and Bill show

Here is the video (courtesy of youtube) of the Macworld Boston in 1997, where Steve Jobs announces that they are partnering with Microsoft and that Microsoft are going to buy $150 million dollars of Apple stock.

All of this happened at the same keynote where Steve returned from the wilderness and rejoined Apple. This must have been so hard for Steve to do…but even with all the all the booing going on, the thinking he presented was spot on and he pulled it off well. Where as BillG must have grinning like a child on xmas day after the link-up video finished.
