On the Pod with Dan Bricklin
Posted by Mick (SplaTT) Stanic under: G'day World Podcast; Podcasting / Mediacasting; The Podcast Network .
Another one of the On the Pod episodes from the rare G’day World podcast has been set loose…and in this, the 29th On the Pod show, we talk with Dan Bricklin, the co-creator of the worlds first spreadsheet application…VisiCalc.

You have to love it when you can talk to legends of the computer industry and call it part of your job :)

Then look back to the first time excel came out and, outside of some fluff, there has been no great move fwd. Everything old is new again. (except for the midget mathematicians who live inside the PC and do the hard work)* *Inside joke 7 May 2005 at 4:38 am. Oh I still have somewhere around this Ascii-chart with all of the Ascii-Codes for eays borders :o) (even though I started out with Multiplan and not visicald)
