You have to love it when you can talk to legends of the computer industry and call it part of your job :)

Isn’t it amazing how little spreadsheets have changed??

Have a look at your VisiCalc screen shot, add some colours and you have excel. Then look back to the first time excel came out and, outside of some fluff, there has been no great move fwd.

Everything old is new again.

(except for the midget mathematicians who live inside the PC and do the hard work)*

Oh I still have somewhere around this Ascii-chart with all of the Ascii-Codes for eays borders :o)

(even though I started out with Multiplan and not visicald)
