Sydney Geek Dinner v1.0

Allright…allright…i’ve been putting it off for a while, but it’s time we had a geek dinner in Sydney…

I haven’t set a firm date for it yet, as i want to find a location that is befitting Sydney’s first geek dinner…sooo….if you know somewhere that is reasonably central, has free WiFi, good food and probably serves alcholic beverages :) add your suggestion in the comments for this post and lets get the ball rolling.

There are a couple of pubs in Sydney that have PubNet’s free WiFi service available like the Point Hotel in Pyrmont and the The Royal Hotel in Darlington, so they may be an option. I can’t vouch for The Royal, but The Point Hotel in Pyrmont has a pretty good setup….see what you think..

I’m also looking at helping to set up geek dinner’s in Melbourne and other Australian locations, so if you have any suggestions feel free to add your comments as well….
