Coffee with Cameron Reilly

Spent the weekend in Melbourne…combination of meetings and visiting a Retail Business Technology exhibtion on Friday and visitng mum and friends over the weekend…

On Friday i also had the opportunity to catch-up and have coffee with Cameron Reilly. We spoke about a heap of things….CRITICAL (Innovation Conference)…..Microsoft and the apparent change in the business/operational focus of their products since BillG has been Chief Architect……the impact of blogging, the internet and other technological changes on marketing and how we communicate with people and how we have now provided them with the ability to talk back to us and to talk to each other…..a big chat about the changing face of the retail environment and how technology is going to re-define that space over the next two years (hint: watch the retail space, it is morphing quietly as we speak)…..and also about his new venture, The Noumenon Group…..ingeneral, we spoke about all sorts of cool stuff….Cameron’s an all around nice guy and i know we will be talking to each other a lot more in the future.

Oh yeah… i also grabbed a photo of him for my moblog….
