Canberra GeekDinner update

OK….OK….i promised a venue, so i dropped all the names of the cafes in Civic into hat and pulled a name out….well…not really. Apparently WiFi exists in Nth Garema Arcade at Velentino’s Cafe (Shop 1 Garema Arcade)..so the plan at this stage is…
…8/8.30pm on Wednesday the 4th of August at Velentino’s Cafe at Shop 1 Garema Arcade Canberra (i hope Whereis has got it right…since MapPoint is not out yet :)…if you don’t spot anyone with an open laptop (being a WiFi point there may be other people/geeks partaking of the free connection or we have mau have moved for one reason or another) you can call me on 0413 804931 or Mark Baartse on 0404 827931
I can’t vouch for the food, but a friend of a friend (i know…its complicated) tells me the coffee is OK…so…if any of you have a better option, leave a comment and i can always post an update between now and Wednesday night (we can always move to WoodStock’s if free WiFi and good coffee aren’t as important as dinner (gasp!))…otherwise…see you at the GeekDinner…
